ABOUT ME

Julie Stone (She/Her)

NASM, Certified Personal Trainer

Although I've worked with a range of clients, my main area of focus is working with those who have mobility difficulties and disabilities. I have peripheral neuropathy called Charcot Marie Tooth (CMT) and understand the struggles of managing your health and fitness. When you work with me, I want you to listen to your body and do what is best for it. I believe growth should be measured on a personal level and not comparative to others. I want you to strive to be the best version of yourself and believe each fitness journey is unique and ever-evolving. During our time together, I'll challenge to create goals for yourself and your lifestyle AND encourage you to love your body during every step of the process.

 

Here are some ways I've helped clients with in the past:

  • Being able to stand and walk longer

  • A better sense of stability and balance. Feeling confidence when walking on uneven surfaces without the fear of falling.

  • Enhanced energy and not feeling totally burnt out after household chores or going to the grocery store.

  • Finding a safe way to exercise that won't exasperate your body and/or cause injury

  • Reducing pain and muscle tightness
